A big thankyou to Malcom and Nicky for coming and spending a days experience at Gorstage Green farm, the weather was perfect. Malcom seemed to be in his element, from looking after the calves to feeding the bulls. One of the best highlights of the day was when Nicky and Malcom had to move two new born calves which had only been born the day before to the calf place,so Malcom just picked each calf up in his hands and carried them over (no messing about there). The biggest impression left on Nicky and Malcom was that the farmer has to be dedicated and skilled to run a farm to high standards but with people like Nicky and Malcom appreciating the work we do, it is worth it.
